2026 REGIMENT Miniature Painting Contest

To celebrate the official release of REGIMENT, we are hosting a month-long painting contest. This is your chance to showcase your units and compete for specialized regiment expansions provided by our sponsor, 3D Miniature Vault . If you do not have any models already to paint, please check out their store. Otherwise you can check the vendor listing page for links to more resources for units.
 
Contest Timeline
Start Date: Monday, May 11, 2026
End Date: Friday, June 12, 2026
Submissions will close at 11:59 PM on the final day. Winners will be announced following the judging period.

Categories & Prizes
Winners of each category will receive the corresponding REGIMENT-compatible expansion from the sponsor's 3D Miniature Vault catalog:

• Best in Show: AT-AT Regiment Expansion  and a Tabletop Simulator Steam key

Minor Categories:

• Best Empire: AT-ST Regiment Expansion
• Best Rebel: T1-B Hovertank Regiment Expansion
• Best Separatist: AAT Tank Regiment Expansion
• Best Republic: AT-RT Regiment Expansion
• Best Infantry: Clone Wars Leader Expansions (All Separatist and Republic )
• Best Vehicle: LAAT Regiment Expansion

Official Rules

• Submission Limit: Each contestant may submit a maximum of three (3) total entries.
• Unit Eligibility: All entries must be approximately 6mm (1:270 to 1:300) miniatures for any of the current roster of REGIMENT units. Infantry entries in 8mm (1:220) or 10mm (1:182) scales are acceptable.  You can find a list of current units here .
• Unit Focus: Each entry post may only feature one unit. Multiple bases are allowed if they belong to that single unit (e.g., an infantry squad).
• Submission Process: Create one forum post per entry under this topic .
• Winning Constraints: Contestants can only win one "Minor Category" (Faction or Unit type). All entries remain eligible for Best in Show, regardless of other category wins.

How to Enter
Please use the following template for your submission post.

Faction: Empire / Rebel / Separatist / Republic / Gungans
Description: Any context regarding your painting process, techniques, or lore.
Pictures: Minimum one (1), maximum ten (10). Share a link to your images. If submitting more than 1 image please share an album through Imgur or another  similar image hosting platform.
 

If there are any questions, please feel free to reach to me on Discord or through private messages. Do not post in this topic unless you are submitting an entry. Posts that are not entry submissions will be deleted.

Description: Utilizing the callsign 'Circus', the transport gunship flying under Pink Squadron has made a name for itself diving into the fray of combat and coming out with damage that would scrap less-experienced pilots.

Unit: Droidekas
Faction: Separatist
Description: In the height of the Clone Wars, Droidekas were occasionally fielded alongside BX-5C Supercommando Droids to provide heavy mobile fire support. In these roles, one Droideka from the squad was designated as an 'Alpha', with distinctive markings and a higher-functioning droid brain.
These were really difficult to paint due to several print failures I'm hoping aren't noticeable at this scale!
